At Freightbooking, we are seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Developer with a strong background in UX/UI design to join our innovative team. This role is crucial for enhancing our platform's user experience, aligning with our core values of innovation, reliability, transparency, efficiency, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, creative design skills, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality front-end code for our web applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to translate requirements and user stories into elegant, efficient, and scalable UI designs.
- Apply UX/UI principles to create user-centered designs, including wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights, and iterate designs accordingly.
- Stay abreast of emerging front-end technologies and UX/UI trends, and apply this knowledge to improve the Freightbooking platform.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
- Ensure alignment of design and user experience with Freightbooking’s mission and core values, enhancing platform efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI skills.
- Experience in designing responsive web applications and understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
