Collection Officer

A company active in the automotive sector, is currently looking to hire a Collection Officer. As a Collection Officer, you are responsible for written and telephone correspondence with customers, lawyers, collection service providers and internal staff regarding outstanding invoices. Your goal? Getting every outgoing invoice paid as smoothly as possible.

Your main responsibilities as the Collection Officer:

• Written and telephone correspondence with internal staff, clients, lawyers and collection service providers.
• Keeping an accurate record of all actions you take.
• Ensuring that the collection strategy is followed and implemented.
• Preparing and checking clients before handing them over to the collection service providers.
• Processing all incoming payments from the collection service providers
• Booking and checking bad debts.
• Follow-up on outstanding receivables and payment discrepancies.
• Ensuring good relations with all internal departments.

Your profile as Collection Officer:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• You are born to communicate and are fluent in Dutch and French.
• You are patient, empathetic and solution oriented.
• You are decisive and stress resistant.
• You have a self-confident attitude that can only benefit your negotiations with third parties

The offer as Collection Officer:

• salary between 3500-4000 gross/month
• CAO90 bonus
