The Opportunity


We’re looking for a Commercial Lead to join us in an exciting growth phase of the company.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing team coordination with hands-on commercial execution. As we scale, you'll play a key role in bringing structure to our sales operations, supporting business development across OEM (80%) and aftermarket (20%) channels, and ensuring our commercial efforts are both effective and repeatable. You’ll work closely with internal teams, partners, and customers to drive results while building the foundation for future growth.


Classified recently announced integration with SHIMANO Di2 — this momentum, combined with our global partner network, presents a unique opportunity to lead the commercial playbook for scale. 


 


Key Responsibilities


1. Sales execution



  • Support and execute the global sales strategy with a strong focus on operational follow-through.

  • Drive / supervise day-to-day sales activities with OEMs and aftermarket clients, ensuring consistent progress through the sales funnel.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status.

  • Help convert long-term technical and commercial conversations into confirmed business


2. Process & Structure



  • Implement and improve structured sales processes and tools that support scalable growth.

  • Ensure clear documentation, pipeline tracking, and follow-up mechanisms are in place.

  • Identify gaps in processes and proactively suggest improvements.


3. Team Management



  • Lead and coordinate a lean sales team, ensuring alignment on goals, activities, and performance metrics.

  • Provide structure, coaching, and oversight to ensure team productivity and focus.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.


 


Qualifications



  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, ideally in B2B or OEM environments within the cycling & mobility industry.

  • Commercially agile: understands pricing, positioning, sell-in, and negotiation.

  • Proven track record of managing sales pipelines, accounts, and closing deals in a structured, process-driven manner.

  • Experience working in or with fast-growing, scale-up or entrepreneurial businesses.

  • Experience managing or mentoring small sales teams is a strong plus.

Location



  • Willing and able to be based approximately 2 days/week onsite in Belgium and travel as required (in Belgium and internationally).
