We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a growing security and access control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, testing, and configuring a range of electronic security systems including access control, door entry, intercoms, fob and card-based systems, and associated infrastructure across commercial, residential, education, and public sector environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded engineer who enjoys seeing projects through to completion and ensuring systems are fully operational before handover to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Commission and configure access control and door entry systems within major Data Centres in mainland europe.
* Programme fob, card, and credential-based access systems.
* Test and fault-find electronic security installations.
* Configure controllers, readers, intercoms, and management software.
* Complete site acceptance testing and client demonstrations.
* Ensure systems are operating in accordance with design specifications.
* Produce commissioning documentation and handover packs.
* Work closely with installation teams, project managers, and clients.
* Provide technical support during project delivery.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and health & safety requirements Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
