Job Description - Communication Strategist

​GOPA Com.

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic thinker to join our team as a Strategic Planner with a strong communication background. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to unearth simple, straight-to-the-point key messages from a vast amount of data. This role requires a deep understanding of clients’ needs and constraints, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and interpret large volumes of data to identify key insights and trends.
  • Develop clear, concise, and impactful key messages that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Create strategic plans that effectively communicate these key messages to various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including New Business, Project Management, and Creative departments, to ensure cohesive execution of strategic plans.
  • Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders in a compelling and persuasive manner.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure our strategies are cutting-edge and effective.

  • Proven experience as a Communication Strategist or in a similar strategic role.
  • Strong background in communication, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable messages.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data and identify key insights.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate and sell strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with institutions and understanding their specific needs and constraints.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Explore and contribute to the development of new strategic tools and approaches that will strengthen strategic capacity and collective expertise at GOPA Com.
