Configuration Management Officer

At UniSystems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Configuration Manager to join our UniQue team in Brussels!

What will you be doing in this role:

• Deliver daily configuration and patch management services
• Maintain and update the CMDB in collaboration with SMC team
• Document configuration changes in designs, work packages, security specs, and technical diagrams
• Ensure industry naming conventions are applied throughout the CSU
• Support and possibly deputize for Change Manager and Transition Manager as needed
• Organize and lead configuration-related coordination meetings (e.g., CAB, delivery panels)
• Generate and present reports on configuration compliance and service performance

• Higher vocational education with 3 years post-related experience
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Configuration Management experience
• An ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification is required. (Additional ITIL certifications or courses on Configuration/ Service Transition would be a plus)
• Strong experience in ITSM environments, including configuration and change tools
• Background working with infrastructure projects or service delivery organizations
• Strong knowledge of Configuration Management (CI lifecycle, CMDB maintenance, compliance, patch management).
• Proficiency with ITSM tools (BMC Remedy or similar; reporting via Power BI/Smart Reporting).
• Understanding of Change & Transition processes, with ability to support CABs and deputize for Change/Transition Managers.
• Basic to intermediate skills in data modeling and database platforms (MS SQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC standards and industry naming conventions (learnable on the job)
• Familiarity with secure/classified environments is a plus
• A strong level of the English language is required.
• An active security clearance at NATO Secret level is required at the time of application.
