Flint’s expanding Global Markets & Investor Advisory business is seeking consultants at both the early and more experienced stages of their careers to support clients operating and deploying capital across Europe.
The GMIA Europe team works within Flint's Global Financial Services Practice and Private Markets team to support institutional investors in assessing the impact of public policy and regulation on sectors across the economy, and specific impacts on individual assets, the competitive landscape, profitability, and growth prospects.
At a time of significant political and policy change, successful candidates will have a unique opportunity to support the continuing development of Flint’s business in this area and work on an exciting array of complex policy and regulatory issues for our clients. This will involve working closely with senior team members across Flint to advise clients on public policy, politics, regulation, and commercial strategy.
Our clients include senior executives at asset managers and private equity firms, banks, insurers, pension funds, fintechs, technology companies, blockchain infrastructure, and other financial institutions, as well as alternatives, portfolio companies, and corporates.
The GMIA Europe team works across Flint’s Brussels, London, Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam offices. It is part of a global network of professionals working across the Hong Kong and Singapore offices and the wider Asia-Pacific region and Middle East.
We are looking for applicants who can be based in one of our European offices - Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam or Berlin. Some travel to Flint’s other European offices (including London) may be required.

Consultants/Senior Consultants and Managers - Private Markets Advisory, Europe
We are looking for consultants and experienced managers to join our European Private Markets team, leading the delivery of high-quality advice and analysis for investors, asset managers, and portfolio companies operating in complex political and regulatory environments.
The role will involve running project teams, shaping client advice, and supporting business development. You will work on commercially and politically significant issues that affect investment strategy, transactions, and asset performance across both private and public markets. You will advise clients including private equity, hedge funds, institutional investors, and financial institutions, helping them understand and respond to policy, regulatory, and political developments. This may include work related to due diligence, market entry, regulatory risk assessment, and long-term strategic positioning.
You will also play a hands-on role in managing junior colleagues, sharing expertise, and maintaining high standards of analysis and client delivery across projects. Experience working with investors, transactions, or market-facing strategy is essential.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking candidates with around 4 years’ experience in areas such as private equity, private credit, public markets, transaction advisory, commercial due diligence, or strategy consulting. This may include experience gained in a consultancy, investment firms, financial institutions, or in-house strategy or corporate development roles.
This role requires strong commercial instincts and an interest in how policy, regulation, and politics shape investment outcomes.
