As our Content Marketeer, you turn complex energy and tech topics into clear, engaging stories that support Smappee’s commercial growth. You build and execute a structured content strategy across channels, collaborate closely with internal experts, and ensure consistent communication that strengthens our global brand presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Smappee’s content strategy across markets and customer segments.

• Build and maintain a structured content plan and editorial calendar.
• Create compelling and accurate content for blogs, social media, newsletters, and product pages.
• Translate complex technical topics—such as energy monitoring, EV charging, and automation—into accessible language.
• Coordinate creative assets, translations, and localisation with internal and external partners.
• Monitor content performance, track SEO and engagement metrics, and optimise based on insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product, sales, R&D, and marketing to gather input and deliver publishable content.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in technical or complex industries.
• Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accurately.
• Experience with SEO, keyword research, and content performance analytics.
• Experience working with customer journeys and identifying content gaps.
• Fluent in English (Dutch or French are strong assets).
• Experience with Craft CMS, HubSpot, or AI/LLM tools is a plus.
• Curious, proactive, hands-on, and a collaborative team player.
