Your responsibilities

Together with your team, you'll
ensure that Nordic Collection, as a market leader, develops and sources the
most innovative products. You can work from our offices in Londerzeel, Ghent,
Brussels, and even throughout the Netherlands.

As a contractor Wales, Scotland,
England and Faroe Islands, you'll transform production ideas into a strategic
purchasing plan. You'll also be responsible for setting up contracting
partnerships and gathering the necessary partner information.

More concretely:

  • You are ultimately
responsible for purchasing package holidays for the destination Wales,
Scotland, England and Faroe Islands. This involves frequent contact with our
    local partners.

  • You will work with
your team lead and the sales teams on a strategic production plan for our
package holidays for sale in all our markets.

  • You'll closely
monitor trends in your destination and our markets. You'll keep a close eye on
what our competitors are doing, what our markets are demanding, and what
developments are happening in the destinations themselves. You'll collaborate
with other buyers, partners, tourist boards, and all sales teams.

  • Based on the
purchasing plan, you travel to your destinations to convince partners to work
with us, both for accommodation, transportation, and excursions.

  • You conclude clear
contracts and cooperation conditions with each partner regarding prices,
quotas/guarantees, cancellation conditions and invoicing conditions.

  • You provide each
partner with a clear fact sheet (detailed product description, how -to
    instructions, photos, etc.).

  • You ensure good
information flow to the product coordinators.

  • Together with the
product coordinator, you will train all travel designers on product knowledge
at the start of the sales season.

negotiator who will persevere in a partnership until it is secured.

  • You work correctly
    and accurately.

  • You are a
    communicative team player.

  • Our company values
resonate with you. You're passionate about our authentic nature destinations
and highly value quality and honesty.

  • You have at least 2
years of relevant work experience in tourism as a buyer/product manager.

  • Knowledge and/or
experience with one or more of our destinations is a plus, but not a
    requirement.

  • You have professional
oral and written communication skills in English (minimum level
    B2, preferably C1).

  • You are flexible and stress
    resistant.
