Job Description - Customer Engineer

Job description

As a Customer Engineer, you’ll be the key player in driving successful product implementations from signature to delivery. With a customer centric mindset, you’ll lead the charge to ensure that every Azumuta customer is set up for success. You’ll leverage your deep product knowledge and communication skills to deliver an outstanding, hands-on customer experience, guiding them through every stage of the implementation journey. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about making sure customers get the most value from our solution.

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead & deliver implementations – Act as the main point of contact for your assigned implementations, from kick-off to launch. Keep projects on schedule, proactively identifying risks or delays. Lead customer-facing implementation sessions & provide hands-on training sessions to customers, guiding them through key product features, workflows, and best practices, ensuring they have the guidance and resources needed to achieve a successful outcome.

  • Build product expertise – Become an expert on our product and use this knowledge to tailor the implementation to meet the specific needs of each customer, ensuring a smooth setup process.

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience – Deliver a world-class customer experience, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively ensuring that customers are fully supported throughout the implementation process.

  • Meet customers where they are – Travel to customer sites in Belgium (or internationally as we grow) when necessary, to strengthen relationships and provide tailored support.

  • Collaborate intensely with Go-To-Market & product teams to ensure fluent hand-overs and a streamlined client journey. Be the “voice of the customer” when discussing roadmap and product improvements.

  • Optimize & improve – Continuously analyze the implementation process and customer feedback to help refine procedures, resources and support materials for future implementations.

Job requirements

🎯 You’d Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a project management, implementation or customer-facing role, ideally with a SaaS or tech focus. – You thrive in an environment where you're juggling multiple projects, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish.

  • Are a creative thinker - You don’t take no for an answer and are always looking for ways to provide successful solutions to customers.

  • Have a hands-on approach – You love being directly involved with customers, whether it’s through training, troubleshooting, or guiding them through complex implementation steps.

  • Are tech-savvy – You have a strong understanding of SaaS products and can quickly learn new technologies to drive product adoption and solve problems.

  • Excel at communication – You’re an effective communicator, able to explain complex ideas clearly to customers and work cross-functionally with internal teams.

  • Are detail-oriented – You have a keen eye for details and ensure that every project milestone is met with precision and care.

  • Fluent in Dutch & English – Bonus points if you speak French!
