About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst (Freelance) to join our client’s dynamic team in Brussels for a 4-month mission. You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing a new Partnership Office focused on operational customer services and performance management. Your work will directly shape how our client measures, analyzes, and elevates the performance of their outsourced Client Service Center activities. As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in setting up the performance management framework that underpins our client’s partnership operations. Your expertise will ensure that service levels are not just met, but exceeded, by defining, tracking, and challenging key performance indicators. The stakes are high: your insights will empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions, optimize capacity, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with stakeholders to set up and document SLAs/KPIs as outlined in partnership agreements.


• Define new SLAs/KPIs as needed, ensuring alignment with business objectives.


• Source, gather, transform, and analyze raw data to establish robust performance metrics.


• Negotiate targets and define weighting for each SLA/KPI.


• Independently organize and drive the end-to-end process to deliver results on time.


• Challenge and validate reported figures to ensure data quality and integrity.


• Develop and maintain dashboards (Power BI, Excel) to monitor performance and data accuracy.


• Identify trends in underperformance, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with domain experts to drive remediation.


• Act as the primary contact for performance-related topics between internal teams and external partners.


• Set up forecasting systems for activity volumes to enable effective capacity planning.


• Contribute ideas to continuously improve processes and add value within a small, agile team environment.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.


• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, engineering) or equivalent experience with strong analytics knowledge.


• Advanced Excel skills and basic Power BI proficiency (or willingness to learn rapidly).


• Experience in the banking sector is mandatory; knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) processes is a plus.


• Fluent in French and English; good command of Dutch.


• Team player with a proactive, self-starting attitude and strong communication and influencing skills.


• Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities, with a commitment to autonomy, perseverance, and continuous learning.


• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment.


• Located in Brussels with a hybrid work setup (50% on-site, 50% remote).

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel (mandatory)


• Power BI (basic knowledge required or willingness to learn quickly)


• Data sourcing, transformation, and analysis techniques


• Dashboard creation and performance monitoring

Language Proficiency

• French: Fluent


• English: Fluent


• Dutch: Good
