Data Architect

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support enterprise data initiatives within a large public sector organization. You’ll work closely with enterprise architects, IT teams, and business stakeholders to design and deliver robust, compliant, and scalable data architecture solutions aligned with enterprise strategies.

• Design and document data-centric solution architectures (data governance, analytics, MDM, DataMesh, etc.).
  




• Align proposed solutions with enterprise architecture standards (TOGAF, ArchiMate).
  




• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-level and detailed technical designs.
  




• Guide project teams throughout implementation and ensure architectural compliance.
  




• Contribute to architecture governance with a focus on data, application, and technology layers.
  

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect (5+ years), ideally in the public or financial sector.
  



• Strong knowledge of enterprise data management, MDM, and Azure cloud technologies (e.g., Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks).
  




• Familiarity with ArchiMate, TOGAF, and architecture tools (Visual Paradigm is a plus).
  




• Effective communicator with strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  




• Trilingual: French, Dutch, and English (technical documentation in English).
  




• On-site presence required at least 50% of the time (Monday–Friday, standard hours). Brussels
  



• This role requires a proactive team player with a solid grasp of both strategic vision and technical execution.
