Database Administrator

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Database Administrator to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Support Database Migrations from On-Prem to Cloud Environments.
• Maintain Advanced DB Architectures on High Availability and Disaster Recovery Database Environments.
• Develop and configures tools to enable automation of database administration tasks.
• Develop dynamic reports for database management systems, including issues and considerations.
• Design standard reports and automation policies to regulate database management system activities.
• Keep up to date Software Lifecycle (roadmap) management of database products.
• Perform routine installation, re-configuration, backups of database and related products on on-premises and cloud environments.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Have at least a High School Diploma
• Expertise in database administration, cloud database management and on-prem, and security best practices.
• Adapt at database migrations from on-prem to cloud.
• Proficient in cloud database solutions such as Azure SQL Database and automation, ensuring efficient and scalable deployments.
• Extensive experience of Microsoft SQL Server on On-Prem and Cloud Environments.
• Basic knowledge for other database technologies like Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies, automation with PowerShell, and CI/CD integration, contributing to robust and secure database infrastructures.
• A good understanding of more advanced architectures on High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions, like server clustering and virtual infrastructures.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft reporting technologies (PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS), Grafana reporting.
• Experience with automation technologies (Ansible).
• Proficient in English language at a B2 level.
