ADay in the Life of… As the Director of Sales and Events, your roleinvolves supporting the creation of the Sales plan and aligningstrategies for business development and revenue maximisation.You'll build relationships with Key Account Directors/Managers,seek new business in relevant segments, and utilise brandinitiatives. Ensuring appropriate sales structures, leading anddeveloping the team, and fostering a Sales culture is essential.Strong relationships with brand Sales teams, adherence to brandstandards, and evaluating ROI are crucial. You'll also preparereports and presentations, and actively cross-sell Aimbridgeproperties. To be successful in this role you have a: - Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and RestaurantManagement, or related significant experience in sales andmarketing or a related professional area. - Experience inmulti-property or cluster hotel role. - Multi-language skills withat least proficiency in Dutch and English are required, proficiencyin French is preferred. - Have multiple years of experience in asenior sales role where you have managed sales colleague(s) -Preferably have a business network within the Ghent region What isin it for you?
