Electrical Site Supervisor

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join a leading building services contractor delivering large-scale, offsite modular MEP solutions for hyperscale data centre projects across Europe.

Working alongside a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will oversee the installation, reconnection, testing and commissioning of prefabricated plantrooms, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Projects typically last 5–7 months in each European location before moving to the next assignment.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise client-appointed electrical installation teams during the installation and reconnection of modular plantrooms.

* Ensure work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, installation guides and quality standards.

* Carry out technical inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the project.

* Verify electrical installations including cable containment, LV distribution, BMS panels, field wiring and terminations.

* Witness and record electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, functional and point-to-point testing.

* Support commissioning activities and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

* Attend site meetings and coordinate activities with project teams and client representatives.

* Monitor project progress, maintain accurate daily reports and communicate updates to the wider management team.

* Ensure all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures are followed.

* Assist with project handover documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor.

* Strong knowledge of LV distribution, control systems, electrical installations and packaged plantrooms.

* Experience managing electrical installation teams on major construction projects.

* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

* Good understanding of project sequencing and programme delivery.

* Flexibility to work across Europe as projects require.

* Full UK driving licence.

* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

* ECS/CSCS Supervisor Card.

* City & Guilds 2391 or 2394 & 2395 Inspection & Testing (preferred).

* SSSTS or SMSTS, BMS, data centre or modular construction experience would be advantageous.
