Electrical Technician - Belgium

As an Electrical Technician, you will play a pivotal role in
maintaining and optimizing advanced production machinery. You will handle
preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, participate in
improvement projects, and lead smaller initiatives. Your role also involves
mentoring fellow technicians and guiding them through complex problems.

Key Duties:

• Perform
  electrical maintenance and interventions on production installations,
  utilities, and infrastructure.
  
• Document
  and draft technical manuals and work instructions when needed.
  
• Provide
  creative solutions to extraordinary situations, such as shortages of spare
  parts.
  
• Interpret
  technical plans and documents independently.
  
• Diagnose
  and resolve electrical issues with both short -term and long -term
  solutions.
  
• Analyze
  production installations and propose feasible improvements.
  
• Implement
  small projects or sub -projects with support as required.
  
• Collaborate
  with external suppliers for maintenance work.
  
• Supervise
  and train less experienced technicians and external suppliers.

  and program control electronics (frequency drives, PLC equipment, smart

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s
  degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  

Experience:

• 4–5
  years of hands -on experience in electrical maintenance and
  troubleshooting.
  
• 1–2
  years of structured in -house or on -the -job training.
  

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong
  expertise in electricity (strong/weak current, digital techniques, drives,
  control technology, automation, switching).
  
• Familiarity
  with other technical fields (pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics).
  
• Proficiency
  in measurement and programming techniques.
  
• Understanding
  of machinery and production processes.
  
• PLC
  programming skills.
  
• Basic
  PC skills.
  
• Multilingual
  abilities are an advantage.
  

Equipment Expertise:

• Multimeter,
  insulation meter, current clamp.
  
• Oscilloscope.
  
• PLC
