Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join a dynamic wood flooring production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving complex electromechanical systems across a high -volume manufacturing environment. This includes working with specialized wood processing machinery and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electro mechanics or Electrical Engineering
  
• Experience: 4–5 years in a manufacturing setting, preferably with wood -based production lines
  
• Internal Training: 1–2 years of hands -on technical development
  

Technical Expertise

• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low current, digital techniques, drive/control technology, automation)
  
• Mechanical systems: pneumatic, hydraulics, vacuum and drive technology
  
• PLC programming and parameterisation (frequency drives, smart sensors)
  
• Familiarity with wood manufacturing equipment such as:
  
• CNC routers
  
• Edge banders
  
• Hot presses
  
• Laminate profiling machines
  
• Dust extraction systems
  
• Panel saws and sanding lines
  

 Tools & Equipment

• Multimeter, insulation meter, current clamp, oscilloscope
  
• PLC software applications
  
• Mechanical tools: spanners, grinders, bearing assembly/disassembly kits
  
• Hydraulic and mechanical measuring instruments
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electromechanical maintenance and interventions on production installations
  
• Diagnose faults and implement both short -term fixes and long -term solutions
  
• Interpret technical drawings and documentation
  
• Conduct preventive maintenance on infrastructure and utilities
  
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including fine mechanical components
  
• Propose and implement improvement projects
  
• Collaborate with external suppliers and supervise their work
  
• Train and support junior technicians and operators
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
