Contribute to creating a better tomorrow

The only way we can tackle the challenges of this fast-changing world is with passionate people. Led by our purpose of building trust and solving important problems, we come together at PwC to address the biggest issues facing the world in a way that drives positive impact. Are you eager to join a team fuelled by open and curious minds? People who are passionate about their work and create new solutions for a new day? Then you're at the right place.

Your impact

As an Associate, you'll play a supporting role in our EU public policy and regulatory team, gaining hands-on experience and developing your expertise in a dynamic, international environment.

Your core activities will be :

1. Mapping & Insights – EU regulatory environment impacting multidisciplinary firms

  • Help monitor, summarise and analyse EU initiatives that could impact the firm and its business model. Topics include corporate reporting (financial and non-financial), audit, corporate governance and corporate taxation, among others.

  • Support the team in understanding the external environment and identifying the expectations and interests of key external stakeholders (e.g. by attending conferences, events, etc.).

  • Contribute to the drafting of the bi-weekly newsletter on relevant EU developments.

  • Assist in gathering and organising input into EC consultations on topics of interest to PwC.

2. Regulatory leaders network

  • Provide support to PwC regulatory leaders in establishing and/or facilitating formal in-country dialogues with stakeholders on EU public policy, regulatory, and other issues of strategic priority to the network and individual territories.

  • Help with the logistical organisation of the annual R&PL seminar.

3. Cooperation with other stakeholders

  • Help build a network with parliamentary assistants.

  • Support the organisation of events on PwC thought leadership with EU stakeholders (EU institutions, think tanks, NGOs, business/trade organisations, civil society).

About you

  • A first relevant experience or strong interest in EU affairs, public policy, or regulatory topics (an internship or first professional experience is a plus).

  • Good English verbal and written communication skills; eagerness to learn how to make complex issues easy to understand and to adapt messaging to relevant audiences.

  • Interest in building relationships and networking with internal and external stakeholders.

  • A team player with the ability to work in cross-regional, virtual teams.

  • Curious, proactive and enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, under the guidance of more experienced colleagues.

  • Good organisational and time-management skills; able to handle multiple tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an in-depth and rigorous approach.

  • Technologically savvy, with a flexible and agile mindset.

  • A general interest in current events (EU, key member states).

  • Basic knowledge of the EU decision-making process and/or first exposure to EU institutions or political groups.

  • Eagerness to meet people inside PwC and across the broader network.
