Tropos offers strategic business consulting to customers in the design and decision phase of building futureproof, integrated and flexible data solutions. In the actual building phase - thanks to our focus on continuous improvement and automation - we can have a bigger impact with a smaller team. A team that is end-to-end involved in delivering high-quality data solutions to our customers and in the further development of Tropos.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a medior/ senior data engineer:

• You build high-quality data solutions and infrastructure in a project context;

• Most of the time you work together with other colleagues on a project but you are also able to, occasionally, work independently on a smaller project

• You communicate and follow up on progress in an agile way (sprint cycles, demos, …) and you translate tasks in bite-sized chunks (stories) for less experienced colleagues

• You build and share knowledge with your colleagues and the customer and you coach them toward knowledge and confidence

• Eager to learn and hands-on;

• Analytical, a natural problem solver, and a quick thinker;

• Passionate about technology & people and able to communicate with both;

• A team player with a coaching attitude and a growth mindset towards oneself and others;

• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus and other languages a bonus;

• Relevant experience in data engineering and cloud, preferably in a consulting context

• Basic knowledge of a programming language (e.g. SQL, Python, Matlab, HCL)

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in STEM or a natural affinity for logical thinking.
