Role description:

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the preparation and analysis of the organization’s financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role involves leading the financial reporting process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Reporting Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting

Role accountabilities:

• You are responsible for periodic financial reporting.


• You work with great precision and adhere to the set deadlines.


• You coordinate the budgeting process within the Finance Team.


• You are responsible for the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts for the Enabling Functions.


• You are the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all financial management information.


• You are part of the accounting department but work very closely with the Business Controllers in practice.


• You provide financial advice and support management.


• You take on a coordinating role (gathering information, reviewing, reporting, etc.).


• You encourage the exchange of best practices within the organization and the controlling team.


• You contribute to the development of financial policy and propose improvements to the organization’s financial strategy.


• From the start, you take a leading role in initiating and following up on improvement proposals regarding the recently implemented ERP system.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A master’s degree in economics/finance.


• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.


• You have an affinity for accounting and enjoy diving into the numbers.


• You have experience working in an international context.


• You take ownership.


• You can work independently and in an organized manner.


• You are precise, flexible, and have strong analytical skills.


• You are a strong communicator, both in Dutch and English.


• You are pragmatic and solution-oriented.


• You have a good command of Excel. Knowledge of Oracle is an asset.
