Help shape the financial engine of a fast-scaling company
As an FP&A Controller at Loop, you won’t just be tracking numbers—you’ll be driving decisions. This role gives you clear ownership of planning and forecasting for one or more business areas, working directly with functional leads and senior stakeholders. You’ll operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and execution—contributing to the conversations that shape how Loop grows. As an FP&A Controller, you’ll bring clarity and confidence to planning and reporting
You’ll take ownership of monthly and quarterly forecast updates, translating strategic and operational goals into data-backed financial models. You’ll run performancreviews, lead planning cycles, and provide clear insights into budget variances, helping teams understand what’s driving their numbers. You’ll partner closely with Product and Operations to improve budget ownership and ensure that financials are accurate, actionable, and aligned. Behind the scenes, you’ll help keep our planning systems clean, models structured, and reporting consistent across functions.
Your other responsibilities
- Deliver structured variance analysis with insight into risks and opportunities
- Maintain reporting templates and ensure financial data integrity across tools
- Collaborate on KPI tracking and reporting improvements with the FP&A team
- Support cross-functional initiatives focused on forecast accuracy and automation
- Handle ad hoc analysis to inform product, ops, and company-wide decisions
How you’ll succeed as an FP&A Controller
You’re someone who sees the story behind the numbers and isn’t afraid to speak up when something doesn’t add up. You move fast without losing track of the details, and you’re comfortable switching gears between hands-on financial execution and executive-level insight. You’ll thrive here if you’re self-starting, curious, and excited by the idea of owning both process and impact from day one.
These key competences will set you up for success:
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or business controlling
- Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficient with tools like Excel, Power BI, and/or Pigment
- Proven experience running forecast cycles and communicating performance
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
