Full Time Nanny for Tribeca Family (May 2025 start) #FT0145

Full Time Nanny required for a Tribeca family with 2 children (infant baby boy and toddler girl) starting May 2025. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing nurturing care to the children, handling all child related tidying/cleaning and maintaining multiple routines in a busy, single parent household. You will be responsible for transporting the daughter to/from daycare, extracurriculars and playdates, fostering her social skills and creating a warm + playful environment for her imagination and silliness to thrive in. You will need to play an active role in planning age appropriate and engaging activities to assist infant son in reaching developmental milestones as he grows.

Mom is looking for a long-lasting and supportive partnership with a nanny who is efficient, dependable and values open communication. This position requires a proactive, engaged and attentive nanny that can provide structure for the children day to day. Mom travels for work every other week, so having a flexible schedule to accommodate overnights, earlier/longer days and some weekends is essential. Reliability, capability and flexibility are key to this role. A second language is preferred, however the family will consider all qualified candidates.

Location: Tribeca, NYC

Start date: May, 2025 (able to flex to early summer start date for the perfect candidate)

Days/times: 50+ hours per week expected, with general working hours landing between 8:00am - 6:00pm, with ability to flex as needed for frequent overnights, earlier/later days, weekends, etc.

Children: 2 children: daughter (born July 2021) + son (born January 2025)

Conditions: $35 - $40 per hour* plus unlimited metrocard, health care stipend, sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations. The family is open to discussions surrounding the final compensation package for their preferred candidate.

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Work authorization for the US
• A minimum of 5 years working as a nanny
• A well-suited demeanor for working infants and with toddlers
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Proven tenure with multiple families (ideally with multiple children) including excellent references
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
