Job Description - German & Dutch Speaking Customer Advisor


Are you a fluent German and Dutch speaker with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? Are you looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, hybrid role based in the historic and vibrant city of Ghent, Belgium?

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Customer Advisor, where you will serve as the essential first point of contact for clients and partners of a leading international automotive company.

The Role: Your Impact & Responsibilities

As a key member of our customer service department, you will act as the vital bridge between our global clients, local dealers, and the corporate team. You will handle a wide range of inquiries, providing creative solutions and high-level support to ensure a premium experience.

This position offers a hybrid lifestyle, giving you the flexibility of working 3 days remotely and spending 2 days on-site at our modern, high-tech office in the heart of Ghent.

  • Multilingual Inquiry Management: You will be the voice of the brand, responding to incoming calls, emails, and chat messages. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: You won't just follow a script; you will identify the root cause of customer issues and provide effective, personalized solutions.
  • Precise Documentation: You will accurately track customer journeys and solutions in our CRM system, ensuring data is up-to-date for your international colleagues.
  • Product Expertise: You will undergo continuous learning to maintain a deep understanding of our automotive products, services, and new technical developments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with sales, logistics, and technical support departments to ensure complex issues are resolved seamlessly.

While prior experience in a customer-centric role is an advantage, it is not a strict requirement. We provide comprehensive, paid training to ensure you are fully prepared to excel from day one.

The Ideal Candidate: Your Skills & Profile

We are seeking proactive, empathetic individuals who can provide top-tier support while navigating a fast-paced environment.

  • Language Mastery: Native or near-native fluency in German and Dutch is mandatory. You will be the primary contact for these specific markets.
  • Internal Communication: A strong command of English (B2 level or higher) is required for internal training, team meetings, and collaboration with your international peers.
  • Customer-First Mindset: You have a genuine desire to help others and can remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Technical Adaptability: You are comfortable learning new software and navigating CRM tools while multitasking.
  • Flexibility: You are comfortable working in a 24/7 rotational shift environment, which allows the company to support customers across all time zones.
