Housekeeper / House Manager, M/F

We are on the lookout for a skilled, adaptable, and trustworthy Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of a spacious private residence in Overijse, Belgium.

This full-time role (30 hours+ per week) is perfect for those seeking a stable and enduring opportunity within a respectful and well-organized household. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing consistent support to the owners, a professional couple, on a daily basis for the long haul.

Responsibilities

• Full cleaning and upkeep of a 750m2 villa across 3 floors
• Preparing indoor and outdoor spaces ensuring the property is well-presented
• Errand running (grocery shopping, post office, dry cleaning etc)
• Receiving parcels and postal mail, scanning and filing
• Occasional pet care and general garden maintenance
• Welcome external providers to handle servicing and repairs
• Supervise laundry, ironing/washing and assist when required
• Prepare simple, healthy Mediterranean-style meals (lunch and dinners when owners are present)

• M/F with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Inherent ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality 
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Excellent communication skills, kind and trustworthy
• Capable of preparing simple balanced healthy meals
• Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French a plus)
• Valid driver’s license (essential; car provided)
• Legal right to work in Belgium or EU passport holder

• Full-time permanent – 30+ hours/week - Live-Out
• 5 days per week, availability for occasional weekends
