As an Information Analyst, you will be pivotal in ensuring that critical business decisions are powered by robust, accurate, and actionable data. Your expertise will directly influence the reliability, efficiency, and innovation of energy reporting systems, impacting both operational excellence and the customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze and transform complex datasets and reports to support the transition to MIG6 and the integration of digital meter data.


• Design, implement, and optimize new and existing reporting solutions within an integrated data model.


• Lead the execution of reporting tasks, including requirements analysis, report design, transformation, extension, and automation.


• Conduct thorough acceptance testing of datasets and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.


• Perform data coupling (automatic and semi-manual) and establish robust automation processes for reporting workflows.


• Investigate and document data flows, proactively detect and resolve system errors, and ensure data integrity.


• Create, test, and document standard business reports, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.


• Serve as a bridge between business and IT, translating functional requirements into maintainable, scalable solutions.


• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, addressing questions, issues, and feedback with clarity and professionalism.


• Integrate rapidly into an established team, contributing from day one through self-organization and a strong learning mindset.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a BI Consultant (mid-level)


• Demonstrated expertise as an Information Analyst or in a similar analytical role (mid-level)


• Advanced Power BI skills, especially with large data volumes


• Hands-on experience with data processing in Databricks (mid-level)


• Strong SQL query writing abilities (mid-level)


• Solid background in Data Management (ETL processes)


• Experience with acceptance testing methodologies


• Proficiency in requirements analysis and reporting tools


• Familiarity with PySpark (mid-level, preferred)


• Understanding of market processes within the Belgian energy market (mid-level, preferred)

Language Proficiency

• Fluent Dutch (European CEFR level C2) – both written and spoken is mandatory
