Infra Engineer - Brussels

Mercier Consultancy Europe is looking for a proficient Infra Engineer to join our team in Brussels! Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of infrastructure systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize the application deployment process and support CI/CD practices.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve infrastructure standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support and ensure high availability of systems.

• Proven experience as an Infra Engineer or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, networking, and cloud solutions.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements related to IT infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator) are a plus.
