Job Description - Inside Sales & Digital Customer Engagement Representative

Inside Sales & Digital Engagement Specialist Benelux 100%


 


Location: Mechelen


 


 What will you do:



  • Office-related (also possible to work from home), remote sales function

  • Part of the Benelux Sales team, reporting to the local sales manager

  • Achieve financial targets for Tecan products in assigned sales territory

  • Collaborate with the Sales, Service, Marketing, and Customer Operations teams

  • Continuously increase personal efficiency and productivity

  • Actively selling consumables, service contracts, remote sales channel and small lab equipment

  • Achieve personal goals for order entry and sales of Tecan's products in the assigned sales territory

  • Grow the business by actively connecting with existing customers and attracting new accounts

  • Actively manage a sales pipeline with leads and opportunities

  • Develop and maintain a high level of sales skills and outbound communication

  • Create and deliver regular forecasts, monthly or when requested

  • Take an active role in leveraging e-commerce and run local inside sales marketing campaigns

  • Actively manage personal costs and expenses

  • Collaborates with related teams on sales processes, new market opportunities, technology, product improvements, and competition

  • Constantly look for developing and developing new skills, especially sales skills 

  • Maintain accurate customer data according to Tecan's processes, especially the organization's CRM system.

  • Deliver agreed order entry and sales plans/budgets

  • Sales to assigned customer bases of consumables, service contracts and small laboratory equipment

  • Execute a global growth strategy for Tecan's product portfolio and align with its global strategy

  • Manage your own time effectively.

  • Effectively prioritize workload between routine activities, projects, and campaigns

  • Prepare quotes, issue product information, and correspondence in accordance with Tecan's policies and procedures


       


Your background

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus.

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or the like.

  • You have experience in sales in life sciences/lab diagnostics market and can handle budgets.

  • You communicate fluently by phone and via other online applications

  • You can organize well

  • You are a team player

  • You are good at converting needs into solutions

  • Self-motivating and positive attitude

  • You can also work independently if necessary

  • You take on things and dare to go for it
