As a driven and strategic Air Freight Inside Sales Officer, you will work together with your colleagues under the Air Forwarding Department, more specifically under the Logistics Excellence Division (LED).
In this versatile role, you will contribute to the air freight sales strategy.
You will support the field service team, build strong customer relationships and contribute to the commercial success of the organization by providing fast, accurate and customer-oriented service.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Customer contact: You manage quotations by drawing up and following up on air freight offers in consultation with air divisions.
Sales support: You handle customer contact by managing daily communication with (potential) customers via telephone, e-mail, and digital platforms.
Relationship management: You provide sales support by assisting field service colleagues with customer information, market analyses, and administrative tasks. You take care of relationship management by building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.
Problem solving: You solve problems by acting as a link in operational or logistical questions and escalations.
CRM management: You manage CRM systems by keeping customer data, actions, and follow-ups up to date.
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar field.
You bring at least 3 years of experience in air freight, a commercial role, or a similar position.
You possess strong commercial and analytical skills.
You have excellent knowledge of air freight processes, market dynamics, and regulations.
You are skilled in working with tools such as Excel, tender platforms, and operational systems.
You are proactive, results-oriented, and strong in building relationships.
You are fluent in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).

Full-time contract, determined time (6 months)
