IT Security Risk Manager - Digital Workplace

We currently have a vacancy for an IT Security Risk Manager – Digital Workplace fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks:

• Conducting security risk assessments in Digital Workplace context using the corporate tools like GovSec and GRC tool and methodologies like ITSRM and ITIL;
• Diagnose potentially complex security-related and/or identity-related issues;
• Design implement and support effective solutions for mitigating security risks;
• Reviewing IT Security Plans (ITSP), in a defined timeframe, integrating IT security controls to meet compliance, risk and data protection requirements;
• Identifying security vulnerabilities, analysis of business risk implications and recommendation of mitigation measures to be put in place to prevent the vulnerabilities from being exploited by malicious attacks. This encompasses vulnerability assessments and technical security compliance checks;
• Help in educating and training users on how to recognise, avoid, and respond to cybersecurity threats (phishing simulations, interactive training modules, awareness campaigns, workshops, and regular security tips or newsletters).

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with 14 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 5 years’ proven experience in IT security risk management, including risk assessment, risk analysis, and risk treatment.
• At least 3 years’ experience in drafting and updating comprehensive security plans;
• Excellent knowledge of IT Security Risk Management Methodology;
• Excellent knowledge of IT Security Compliance Management;
• Excellent knowledge of collaborative tools (e.g. Wiki, Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, M365);
• Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes;
• Knowledge of IT development and service methodologies (e.g. PM2, ITIL);
• Certifications and standards in the following areas are required: CISSP/CISM/CRISC/CISA, PMP/ PRINCE2/PM2, and ITIL;
• Excellent command of the English language.
