Junior Accountant

Our Client specializes in financial services, accounting, and payroll solutions, providing tailored support in financial management, tax compliance, and employee benefits, and is seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including managing email accounts, processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and overseeing creditor and debtor follow-ups. Responsibilities:

• Manage mailbox accounts and transmit purchase invoices.
• Book bank transactions and provide backup support for other companies.
• Process invoices and handle payment bookings.
• Process payments on Wednesdays and Fridays.
• Creditor follow-up: check, reconcile, and manage missing documents, as well as tax refund handling.
• Debtor follow-up: transmit received payments, reconcile accounts, and send trader lists, statements, and interest notes.
• Follow up on travel expense settlements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting/accounts payable
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory) and English (preferred).
