Job Description - Junior Finance Specialist

We are currently looking for a junior finance specialist who can reinforce our finance team. This position is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles. You will assist with day-to-day financial operations.

Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
Monitor and track financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Help maintain financial records, including reconciling accounts and conducting bank reconciliations.
Assist with the preparation of tax returns and filing requirements.
Analyze financial data and prepare reports to help senior management make informed business decisions.
Assist with the development of financial forecasts and budget planning.
Support the auditing process, providing necessary documents and information for internal and external auditors.
Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Stay up-to-date with financial regulations, policies, and industry trends

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of financial accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
