As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Junior Legal Counsel to join us and support the teams crafting the high caliber games our fans have come to expect.
Responsibilities
- Work within the legal team to assist and collaborate with senior legal counsels on diverse legal matters.
- Engage in the preparation and review of legal documents
- Conduct legal research across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on areas critical to the gaming industry including intellectual property, data protection, and consumer law.
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and other legal formalities relevant to the gaming industry.
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of the legal team’s knowledge base by integrating industry-specific legal trends into practice.
- Day-to-day contract management
Requirements
- Law Degree
- Proficiency in English
Nice to haves
- Solid knowledge with a keen interest in fields of law that impact the gaming industry such as intellectual property (IP), data protection, and/or consumer rights.
- Ability to quickly adapt to evolving circumstances and legal frameworks.
- Detail-oriented
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
