Job Description - Maintenance Technician Zonnebeke - Belgium

We are looking for a hands -on Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team in Zonnebeke, Belgium (4 days on / 4 days off, 18:00–06:00). This role suits a technically skilled professional who thrives in rugged environments and enjoys solving complex machinery issues.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the smooth operation of production machinery and robotic systems
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
Collaborate with operators to adjust and set up machines
Detect, locate, and resolve technical malfunctions using Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7
Provide technical feedback to team leaders and operators
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Maintain 5S standards and actively promote safety practices

Requirements

Requirements:
Diploma or proven experience in a technical or industrial field
Strong problem -solving mindset
Familiarity with PLC programs (Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal) and frequency converters
Capable of working independently and within a team
Resides near Zonnebeke
Comfortable working in an industrial production environment
Possesses solid technical expertise and a readiness to work with machinery from the 1980s and 1990s.
The factory environment is rugged and not particularly clean, so candidates must be comfortable working under such conditions.
