Manufacturing Data Owner

Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Manufacturing Data Owner who is analytical, accountable, and collaborative to join our Patient Supply Data & Governance team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

About the role:

In this role, you will translate data strategy into operational reality. You will own manufacturing data end-to-end, ensuring it supports business decisions, operational performance, and regulatory compliance. You will define how data is created, governed, used, and protected across systems and processes. Acting as the single point of accountability, you will drive consistent data governance while empowering teams to manage data quality day to day.

Who you will work with:

You will work closely with Data Stewards, Process Owners, IT System Owners, and the Data Governance Core Team within Patient Supply. You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams, acting as a bridge between business, data, and regulatory requirements at both local and global levels.

What you will do :

• You will own manufacturing data end-to-end, from definition to lifecycle management.


• You will define business rules, data definitions, quality thresholds, and usage conditions.


• You will set data quality standards and decide on corrective and preventive actions.


• You will assess data impacts of system, process, and structural changes.


• You will ensure data governance policies are consistently applied across Patient Supply.


• You will lead data governance initiatives to improve harmonization and interoperability.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.


• Experience in data management and data governance foundations.


• Strong background in GMP/GDP quality systems within regulated environments.


• Solid understanding of GxP regulations and pharmaceutical product lifecycle.


• High data literacy with strong analytical and organizational skills.


• Fluent in English and French, with clear stakeholder communication ability.
