Job Description - Marketing and External Communication Manager

The Marketing and external communication Manager has a strategic role and is responsible for all marketing and promotional activities. This includes, publishing and promoting marketing content to business partners, customers, clients and other stakeholders.
The Marketing and external communication Manager works closely with the CEO of AXA Partners, the Sales and Marketing Director including other Excom members, the commercial department and other cross-functional teams. He/she is expected to bring proactively marketing content and cases/stories with creativity and dynamism. At AXA Partners, this position is important to build our company's brand value certainly by setting editorial, visual, digital, design and brand guidelines. This position requires strong leadership and drives innovative and effective marketing & communications initiatives. 
The goal is to ensure that commercial targets annually set (in the target letters) are met through active marketing support.

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
The Marketing and external communication Manager is part of the Sales and Marketing Benelux Team and reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Director.
The Marketing and external communication Manager acts as the ambassador of AXA Partners Benelux in his communication and is the Marketing reference.
Works closely with Marketing stakeholders at AXA Belgium and build sustainable relationships. 
Local function in contact with all levels of the organization with AXA Partners Benelux, AXA Partners entities in the Region and AXA Partners France

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a results-oriented marketing strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals. Create and implement marketing plans to drive profitable revenue growth, market share expansion, and enhance overall brand recognition. Showcase your marketing expertise at the Excom members and proactively ask for regular feedback.
  • Brand Development and Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong and cohesive brand identity across all marketing channels. Ensure brand consistency and integrity in messaging, design, and customer experience.
  • Digital Marketing: Lead the digital marketing efforts, including website optimization, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with product development team(s) to create effective product launch strategies, positioning, and go-to-market plans. Drive product adoption and customer engagement through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Customer Insights and Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze customer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Utilize data-driven approaches to make informed marketing decisions and optimize campaigns.
  • Public Relations and Communications: Develop and maintain strong media relationships and PR strategies to enhance the company's public image. Effectively manage crisis communications and develop proactive messaging to positively impact the brand.
  • Marketing Analytics and Performance Measurement: Implement systems to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate ROI and make data-driven adjustments to marketing strategies.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Works in close collaboration with team members of the Sales and Marketing team. Inspires high-performing sales team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement, attracting top talent colleagues to the organization.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize return on investment and achieve marketing objectives

    Your Profile

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
    • Min. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven experience (min 4-7 years) in a similar function or in a senior marketing leadership role within B2B industry.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing, data analytics, and technology trends.
    • Exceptional leadership skills.
    • Drive, proactivity and creativity.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for market trends and customer behaviour.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and dynamic environment.
    • The knowledge of the insurance and assistance sector is a plus
    • 3 lingual (NL/FR/EN)
