RELYzIT Talent is seeking a Medior QA Engineer to join our client’s mission-critical team in Antwerp, Belgium. As a Medior QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of platforms that connect terminals, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and government agencies. Your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of international logistics, making every shipment smarter and every process more resilient.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze business and functional requirements to design robust test strategies and scenarios.


• Create, maintain, and execute test cases for functional, system, regression, and integration testing.


• Validate API integrations across diverse logistics and maritime systems, ensuring seamless data exchange.


• Build and maintain automated test scenarios, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.


• Monitor test progress, track and validate defects, and report quality risks to project teams and stakeholders.


• Support release and acceptance processes, contributing to continuous QA process improvements.


• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to validate acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing (UAT).


• Champion a shift-left testing approach, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle.


• Share knowledge within the QA and development teams, advising on test methodologies and quality improvements.

• Azure DevOps (Intermediate)


• Test Automation (Advanced) – Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools


• CI/CD pipelines (Beginner)


• REST APIs (Intermediate)


• Postman (Intermediate)


• Jira (Intermediate)


• GIT (Intermediate)


• MS SQL Server (Intermediate)


• Load Testing (Advanced)


• Supporting User Acceptance Testing (Intermediate)


• Azure cloud environment (Beginner)


• Cyber Security (Beginner)


• ISTQB Foundation level (Intermediate)

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.


• Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus, but not mandatory.

Other Requirements

• Freelance position: 8-month contract, partial remote work possible.


• Security screening is mandatory: All consultants must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check as required by the port sector. The process may take up to 30 days and is a prerequisite for engagement.


• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus.


• Knowledge of performance and security testing is advantageous.


• ISTQB Foundation Certification or higher is valued.


• Experience in logistics, transport, or maritime environments is a strong asset.
