What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and monitor technical architecture and design guidelines within an Agile team environment


• Design complex technical solutions and guide their implementation from concept to deployment


• Align team architecture with broader enterprise and solution architecture standards


• Ensure compliance with technical standards, reference architectures, and quality documentation


• Lead the team’s technical direction, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions


• Actively contribute to sprint goals and foster a culture of shared responsibility and ownership


• Identify and resolve technical impediments, driving continuous improvement


• Coach and mentor software developers, supporting their technical growth and evaluating performance


• Support the selection and onboarding of new team members, collaborating closely with the Scrum Master


• Work hand-in-hand with Product Owners to assess technical feasibility and set priorities


• Champion Agile best practices, supporting sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives


• Monitor and uphold technical quality throughout Agile execution, with a relentless focus on achieving sprint goals

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with .NET (Core / 6 / 8) and C#


• Expertise in API design and integrations (REST, SOAP)


• Hands-on with microservices and service-oriented architectures


• Deep understanding of design patterns and software engineering best practices


• Proficient in REST APIs, SOAP services, and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation


• Experience with Git/Github and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps)


• Skilled in building and maintaining deployment pipelines


• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for Agile project management


• Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and cloud migration strategies


• Strong grasp of secure coding principles, testing, and quality assurance


• Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability in modern applications

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Senior-level experience as a technical designer and leader in software projects


• Senior-level expertise in .NET full stack environments and related programming languages


• Senior-level experience in development projects and defining/monitoring architecture within Agile teams


• Medior-level experience with Angular framework


• Medior-level experience designing and implementing APIs (REST, optionally SOAP) and integration patterns


• Medior-level experience establishing and monitoring quality principles (testing, code quality, secure coding)


• Demonstrable experience creating technical designs and coaching technical designers


• Efficient execution of programming tasks: coding, testing, debugging


• Medior-level experience with CI/CD processes and tooling (Git, Github, TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps)


• Medior-level experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and/or cloud migrations


• Medior-level experience with logging, monitoring, and observability


• Medior-level experience with modern application architectures (microservices, SOA)


• Medior-level experience with release management and deployment processes


• Strong knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology, able to introduce and lead Agile practices


• Medior-level knowledge of API documentation and standards (OpenAPI/Swagger)

Language Proficiency

• Fluent Dutch speaker at CEFR European level C2 (mandatory)

Other Requirements

• Experience working in large, multi-disciplinary IT teams


• Familiarity with SAFe Scrum methodology and enterprise architecture governance


• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with both internal and external stakeholders
