As Payroll Officer you are responsible for a qualitative, correct and timely payroll administration of our employees. You advise and support line management and internal employees on socio-legal issues, labor legislation, remuneration, vacation pay, leave... You are part of a team of 5 colleagues. - You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely monthly payroll in accordance with local legislation and company policy. You will help ensure that your colleagues are paid correctly and on time
- Calculating vacation pay, settling vacation certificates, year-end bonuses, December settlements, eco-cheques, bonuses....
- Answering social-legal questions and picking up ad hoc questions in the field of remuneration and HR data
- You advise and support line management
- You support the Finance Leader and Human Capital Manager by providing regular and accurate reports
- Act as a trusted partner for employees and key stakeholders.
- You collaborate in project teams on new and future payroll related projects.
- In addition, you always critically evaluate current payroll processes and tools and work out proposals to optimize them
Your profile
- You preferably have at least 2 years of relevant experience in an HR department
- You have completed a higher education, preferably a bachelor in Personnel Management.
- A good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
- You are no stranger to the flexible reward system (cafeteria plan)
- Knowledge of MS Office and the use of SD Worx eBlox is a plus
- You are strong in processing data and figures
- You have an eye for detail and like to work in a precise and structured way
- A strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation
- You have a hands-on mentality and good communication skills
