- You prepare the monthly payroll for Belgium and France: you collect and check all variable input, such as salary increases, on-call allowances, meal vouchers, absences and time tracking, and handle country-specific elements like holiday pay and the prime de vacances in France as well as the mobility budget and the cafeteria plan in Belgium.
- You are the first point of contact for our external payroll provider and closely follow up on open questions, corrections and deadlines.
- You review payroll calculations and bank files under the four-eyes principle and make sure the final reports are available for Finance on time.
- You handle the declarations and certificates for leave and absences, such as parental leave, birth and maternity leave, career breaks (time credit) and long-term sickness, follow them up with the Belgian National Employment Office (RVA/ONEM), health insurance funds and the French authorities (such as the CPAM), and make sure they are processed correctly in payroll.
- You answer payroll and HR questions from employees and managers in Belgium and France, and keep track of Belgian and French labor and social security legislation and translate changes into practice.
- You map bottlenecks in the payroll chain, propose concrete improvements, and help create and update clear processes and fact sheets, for example for sick leave and offboarding.
