Coreso is an international SME located in the heart of Brussels’ European district. We are looking for a Power Systems Engineer with a passion for real-time operations, energy security, and cross-border collaboration.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in securing and optimizing electricity exchanges across Europe. Using advanced grid security analysis, capacity calculations, and real-time coordination with TSOs, you will contribute to the stability and reliability of the interconnected European power system.

As a Power Systems Engineer, you will take part in both grid operations (shift-based) and project-based office work to ensure the stability of Europe's energy system.
Shift Responsibilities (Close to Real-Time Grid Operations)
Perform cross-border capacity calculations – Assess and allocate available capacity for energy exchanges between European countries.

Monitor grid security – Analyse real-time network conditions to detect and mitigate potential risks (e.g., overloads, instability).
