Process Engineer (Cleanroom) | Gent

More than 20 renowned automobile manufacturers rely daily on the know-how of our 7 high-tech production plants and innovation centers , which now employ a total of over 4,000 people .Due to the ambitious growth of the organization, we wish to strengthen the team in Gent with a Process Engineer (Cleanroom).

The Role

As a process engineer you will ensure the increase in process productivity, as well as the efficient use of labor, machinery, technology, raw material resources through the application of statistical tools for process control and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for performing studies of time and movement of operations that requires validation.
• You track improvements in productions processes.
• You perform training in new operational processes for personnel.
• You control the use and application of documents or production procedures (SOPs).
• You work in accordance with the HSE, quality and environmental procedures. You also work in accordance with the policies and instructions, whether documented or not, and their specific responsibilities.
• You ensure that problems or suggestions for improvement are reported in the application of the environmental management system. You also ensure that deviations related to environmental issues are duly reported to their supervisors.

Requirements

You have a university or technical studies degree in Engineering or similar field.

You have over two years’ experience holding a similar position .

You have good knowledge of IATF, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D. You also have a knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt), Lean Manufacturing (SMED, 5S)

You have a user knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint and SAP

You have an excellent knowledge of English; a good knowledge of Dutch is a bonus.

You work fluently with MS Office.

You are strategic thinker, can manage and motivate a team.
