The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As Process Engineer (m/f/*) for Chemical Operations in Zwijndrecht, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Build deep knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Provide technical and hands-on support to prevent or resolve production issues.

• Lead equipment and process automation projects to increase productivity and drive continuous improvement.

• Utilize technology and data-analytics tools to generate valuable insights and support decision-making to optimize processes.

• Identify, recommend and implement programs to improve product cost, service quality, process safety, and minimize health and environmental impacts.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Master-Degree in Engineering, Bio-Engineering Sciences or related fields.

• Strong interest in chemical manufacturing technology, process techniques, statistics and data-analytics techniques.

• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Basic knowledge of safety and environmental techniques and strong interest in process automation.

• Result-oriented, creative, pro-active, flexible and an independent worker with strong communication skills.
