The challenge

Here at Haier Europe (Candy, Hoover, Haier) our ambition is simple; to be the number one Domestic Appliance and Smart Home business in Europe. As we grow our organisation, we are now looking for a new Product Manager to take responsibility for one of our core Major Domestic Appliance category’s across the Benelux region.

As Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining, developing, and optimizing your product category portfolio. You’ll act as the gatekeeper of profitability, ensuring the right product mix, pricing, and distribution strategy across retailers. You’ll also drive accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to maximize growth and profitability.

This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, where processes are light, autonomy is high, and impact is immediate.

The position is offered on a Hybrid working basis, 2 days from home and 3 days from our Brussels office situated in Anderlecht.

Our Benelux team has the size and the spirit of a start-up company but inside a world leading group.

What you will do

• Define the product strategy for your category; product range, positioning, pricing, and distribution

• Manage the full product lifecycle, from portfolio definition to phase-out, ensuring alignment with market trends and company objectives

• Develop and maintain sales forecasts and category budgets, in close collaboration with the Sales team and HQ

• Monitor and analyse profitability, making recommendations to optimize product and retailer mix

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and ensure competitiveness

• Work closely with HQ and local teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to align product launches and ensure operational excellence

• Support the Marketing team with product launches, ensuring accurate product information, positioning, and timing

• Ensure product performance tracking (sell-in, sell-out, stock levels) and act upon variances

• Prepare and present business reviews and category performance analysis to management

• Support the Sales team with product knowledge, USPs, and pricing logic to win in the market

What you need to succeed

• Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent

• Extensive experience within Product Management, ideally within household appliances, consumer electronics or a similar consumer durable industry

• Business fluency in Dutch, French and English

• Strong analytical skills and a data driven mindset

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams)

• Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUPS/Pivot Tables)

• Experience of working with Gfk or Nielsen data

• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and profitability mindset

• Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working in a flexible, fast moving environment without heavy processes

• Proactive, resourceful and results orientated

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Able to influence across departments

• Good interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with and support colleagues
