Our connectivity journey started more than a decade ago, and today an industry-leading connected base allows us to collect relevant data about machines installed throughout the globe. This data is enriched and visualized to the end-customer but also used in key sales and operational processes.

The role

Are you passionate about connectivity and is your day successful when you can work on expanding the functionality of a state-of-the-art IoT platform with already more than 250.000 connected devices? Come and join our multi-disciplinary IoT team for which we are looking for someone who takes ownership and shows initiative, is result oriented and is committed to delivery, with prime focus on our core IoT platform.

Do you enjoy translating business needs into IT requirements? As a Product Owner IoT you are the missing link between the “business” (= marketing / operations /… representatives in the team) and “IT” (= the development team). This means you closely interact with various roles within the organization, to truly understand the needs and priorities between the various projects. You transform this into clear user stories and product backlog items with the aim to further develop and support the required mobile applications and supporting infrastructure (IT systems & data structure). You are the first in line of contact to discuss technical topics, you follow-up with the different stakeholders during the validation of the results, and you communicate openly about problems/hurdles.

Are you excited about new technological solutions in the IoT domain? In this role you will work closely within a team of highly skilled internal people and external consultants. The IoT platform is continuously evolving to stay ahead of competition. You will take part in technical meetings, brainstorms, … to ensure our solution is prepared for the future. This also means you keep yourself up to date by following interesting literature/websites/blogs about related subjects.

Who are you?

You have an affinity with Information Technology and Business Administration. You possess a good knowledge of modern/latest techniques in cloud application development (Azure & .NET preferred), cloud management and (API) interface techniques. You gained multiple years of experience in rolling out business cases, covering the full software development lifecycle. This means planning & prioritization are a key part of your skillset. But above all we are looking for someone with good analytical skills, affinity with IoT, who likes to work together in open communication and is eager to learn.
