Product technician for emission test cell

Product Technician for emission and energy efficiency test cell

You will be dedicated to the emission and energy efficiency test cell work as described:

• Start-up and shutdown of the facilities:

             - Chassis Dyno control systems (including warm-up and preparation)

             - Engine ECU data acquisition equipment

            - Exhaust gas analysis equipment  and other acquisition equipment.

            - Perform a” safety check”: facility, equipment and vehicle check before start the testing process. Follow the foreseen check sheets for that.

             - Installation or exchange of gas bottles for exhaust gas analyzers.

             - Support consumption follow-up.

             - Daily and weekly clean-up.

• Vehicle preparation:

            - Install acquisition equipment until full operational state.

            - Draining and refill fuel tank with correct test fuel (according to test request).

            - Proper installation and connection to the different devices and power sources needed to guarantee no data loss.

• Emission tests (according to the test requests):

             - Install the car on dyno

             - Install, connect and prepare the additional measuring equipment (smoke, opacity, SOx analyser, data acquisition system, additional measurement devices...)

             - Prepare emission test analyser and chassis dyno for the test and test cell for temperature

             - Perform emission tests on all different driving cycles.

             - Perform Coast down on the chassis dyno.

            - Ensure data availability after the test both on ECU data and chassis dyno acquisition systems.

            - Fill in on daily base the chassis dyno occupation follow-up documents

            - Performance tests in Climatic Chamber (at negative or positive temperatures depending on the request)

Shift work with Daytime / Eveningtime

Your Profile:

- Valuable experience in similar working area

- Valuable experience in Workshop in the automotive industry

- Experience in basic vehicle maintenance (wheels, brake, battery & fluids)

- Work independently

- Organized

- Proactive and resolutive

- Team oriented

- MS-Office basic level

Languages:

- Minimum B2 English level

- Added value if other language
