Production & Network Planning Coordinator

stow is one of the leading suppliers of storage solutions. Our core activity is the development, manufacturing and installation of top-quality racking systems for the storage of palletised or small goods and longer items, as well as mezzanine structures.

As a Production & Network Planning Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in translating sales requirements & volumes into an optimized production plant fill rate. With a (broad) network view, you are able to identify and execute improvement opportunities in the planning process.

Your tasks & responsibilities: 

• You are responsible for optimizing the fill rate of all production lines in our European network (7 production plants) by balancing due dates (OTIF), cost (transport & manufacturing), production capabilities, available capacity and raw materials.
• You are in the lead for defining and maintaining correct yet competitive lead times for all product families in the group based on the capacity of the production plants, raw materials and intercompany transportation.
• You will be responsible for the identification, initiation and execute of improvement projects in the planning process and with other departments. One of the challenges will be the selection and rollout of a new planning tool.
• You are not afraid to dive into the details of a production planning and support the team in production planning to make sure the E2E planning is done optimally.

Your profile

• You have a Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Operations,…
• You have at least 3 up to 5 years’ experience in supply chain and/or planning
• You are able to look actively for solutions, being action driven, taking ownership and working in a structured way
• You are able to work collaboratively in and communicate with a team environment and with people at all levels in an organization
• You have hands on experience in major ERP systems (experience in SAP is a plus)
• You are an expert in Excel
• You have experience with big data & Power BI is a plus
• You have excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and French (oral and written). The knowledge of German is a plus
