Your Role

Within the life cycle projects team, we are looking for a passionate Project Expert Aftermarket to create customer value by enhancing the availability of our core components.  Come and join our dynamic team if you like to work autonomously, are result oriented with a self-motivating personality.

In this exiting position, you will be responsible to define the aftermarket strategy for design integrations of motors and drives in new product development projects and installed base machines and you overlook the validation and implementation of state-of-the-art drive train solutions on a global scale.

The role – Job description

As a Project Expert you are the driving force to design and follow-up several new service products, which will be used on our entire global installed based.

In this dynamic role, you will actively manage multiple development projects from feasibility into serial production, overseeing validation and testing of various concepts to develop a comprehensive portfolio of motor and drive retrofits. Including defining functional specifications, creating test procedures, and coordinating the qualification process.

Key responsibilities are the set-up and roll out of the aftermarket strategy related to preferred motor and drive types and design restrictions to be considered by equipment project teams.

You work closely with colleagues from technical support, marketing, purchasing and various external suppliers. Including a close collaboration with our engineering center in India who can support in the different steps of the development phases.

You drive the entire product life cycle process for these commodities from global embracement in product development projects, with a strong focus on availability to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Your proactive approach stimulates the development of measurement tools and dashboards to keep track on availability status and will create continues insights and value for our internal and external customers.

• You hold a master’s degree in (electrical) engineering or equivalent studies/experience


• You are fluent in English


• You have experience in Project Management within technical product development


• You are impactful with a customer-focused and service – oriented mindset


• You are passionate about innovations and build a strategy on them


• You show a drive for collaboration, engaging with diverse project teams of different product companies
