About Objective?

With the Objective Product Suite you get 1 perfectly integrated software solution, with which you efficiently control and monitor your production process, warehouse and employees in real-time.

Our gate-to-gate software solutions are a reliable link in the production and logistics supply chain of production companies. From the intake of raw materials to storing and delivering finished products. We help organize the often complex production and logistics processes.

The Objective Product Suite consists of 2 systems:

• MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEM (MES) The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) gets the most out of your production. You work based on a detailed schedule, you control operators and machines and you analyse performance and quality.
• WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (WMS) The Warehouse Management System (WMS) optimises your logistics processes. You make optimal use of your space, you are 100% sure of your stock at all times and you deliver orders correctly and on time.

About the role

Implementing new software is a major undertaking for our customers. From your functional and practical expertise of the Objective product, you support our customers to the maximum, to make the implementation run smoothly and successfully.

Your tasks

• First, you work thoroughly into the functionalities and applications of our Objective software.
• As a member of the project team, you perfectly understand the (new) functionalities that a customer will use. While your colleague-developers develop the software, you will go through the test scenarios of our customers to master the functionalities and support the development team.
• Advise our customers on how to implement our solutions in a as standard possible way.
• You offer them support during testing and configuration on site. You give configuration advice, tips on best practices, and collect any technical questions for the Software Developers.
• During the go live, the effective commissioning of the software, you assist users to find their way in the new software, and you catch the first questions or problem reports.
• You map out the process flows at our customers and document them to the support department.
• You report to your Project Manager.

Requirements for the role

• You obtained a Bachelor or Master’s degree (or equivalent through experience).
• You are analytical and solution oriented. You quickly see the coherence in a complex set of information, come up with solutions and concepts that you can communicate clearly, both in writing and orally.
• You are eager to learn, and a team player.
• Experience in a customer facing role.
• You communicate fluently (Dutch, English), and can speak to clients calmly when they have questions or encounter problems.
• A work experience in the field of MES or WMS is a plus. Because of this, you understand the challenges our customers face, and you can more easily communicate the solutions through practical examples.
• Hands-on experience integrating software applications with external devices or systems using REST API, MQTT, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Affinities with hardware (PLC, Scada, Printers) are also a plus.
• You have a drivers license. Frequent trips to customers, also abroad, are no problem for you.
