Quality Control Coordinator – Opportunity to join a leading producer of construction specialties

Our client is a leading producer of construction specialties with companies in the Benelux, France, and Germany.

They have a strong local presence and employ over 250 people across these countries.

Our client is part of a larger group with activities in cement, aggregates, and concrete, and a presence in 70 countries. The group employs over 70,000 people worldwide.

As a QC Coordinator, you will be working for our client’s plant near Brussels.

Responsibilities:

– Ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications based on data provided by QC lab technicians

– Monitor and enforce adherence to quality control processes and procedures. Update procedures when required

– Identify and report any deviations from quality standards

– Support the QC manager in preparation for and during external quality audits

– Provide support and data to the complaint analysis team

– Provide technical support for customers, sales managers, and product managers

– Actively follow up on the status and changes of product-related legislations, standards, and certifications in collaboration with other departments

– Reports to the QC manager of the plant

Requirements:

– Master of Science in materials engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related field – Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality or research position

– Affinity with the construction sector is a plus

– Knowledge of Dutch and French (verbal and written)

– Knowledge of English is an advantage

– Sense of responsibility and hands-on mentality

– Good organizational skills

– Motivated to continuously expand your knowledge and aware of new trends and technologies within the construction sector
