ABOUT THE INTERNSHIPS
IMPORTANT: While submitting your application, please mention the internship that you’re applying for.
1) R&D Engineer Intern (Civil Engineering)
As an R&D Engineer Intern in Civil Engineering, your mission will be to contribute to the understanding of the mechanisms governing the CO₂ capture in lime-treated soils. Your mission will be to study the competition between the reaction of lime with atmospheric CO2 and with the soil clay fraction. For this purpose, you will study different lime-soil systems from both a mechanical and chemical point of view, giving particular attention to the mineralogical composition of the soil.
Education: Students in Civil Engineering/Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering or similar.
Languages: Fluency English is a must. French is a plus
Duration: 5-6 months. Preferably starting anytime between January - April 2026.
2) R&D Engineer Intern (Construction)
As an R&D Engineer Intern (Construction), you will be part of the materials lab team and contribute to understanding the influence of quicklime's chemical composition on the production of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC). Through literature review and hands-on experimentation, you will investigate the role of specific minor elements in the material's evolution from a suspension to a consolidated state.
Education: Students in Civil Engineering/Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science.
Languages: Fluency in English is a must. French is a plus.
Duration: 5-6 months. Preferably starting anytime between March - May 2026.
